By accessing and using the Rent Chic website at rechic.us , you are accepting and consenting to the practices in these terms of use. Rentier reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time at its sole discretion.

DEFINITIONS

In these Terms of Use “you” and “your” refer to all customer /borrower of this Website and "Rentier" (“we’, “us” and “our”) refers to Rent Chic. References customer /borrower must be read as being also a reference to customers of www.rechic.us

LEGALLY BINDING Contract

These Terms of Use constitute a binding legal contract between you and Rent Chic. These Terms of Use apply to you whether you are browsing or are a customer of Rent Chic. The Terms of Use in force at any time are published on the Website and you will be taken to have accepted them by accessing or using the Website. If Rent Chic develops revised terms of use then on their publication on the Website they will supersede those they replace. If you subsequently access or use the Website you will be taken to have accepted the revised terms of use. Specific Website offerings, incentives, areas, or sections may also have additional guidelines which govern your use of this Website. You must comply with them in addition to these Terms of Use.

This agreement contains all of the terms and conditions regarding your rental of products from Rent Chic via the website www.rechic.us You agree that Borrowing from our business is subject to all our website terms and conditions of use and privacy policy. These are available on our website and are subject to change from time to time. You agree that you are renting products and ownership of the product remains with Rent Chic at all times. Products may be rented for customers who are under the age of 18 however we only rent directly to adults who may rent the products on behalf of a minor. By clicking “I accept” rental agreement button you represent that you are over 18 years and are authorized to use the chosen method of payment with the purpose of renting the products on the order.

DOCUMENTING THE CONDITION

Before every Borrow, Rent Chic will take multiple clear and detailed pictures of the item documenting its current condition before shipping out to the Borrower. These pictures will be referenced as the base condition of the item and compared to images of the return condition in the case of damages.

ARBITRATION AGREEMENT

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Rent Chic’s services will be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court. The Federal Arbitration Act and federal arbitration law apply to this agreement. Arbitration shall be conducted in Ohio.

BORROW PERIOD

Borrowers minimum Borrow period is 3 days to 7days. Day one of the Borrow period begins on the Start Date and the item is expected to be returned on the End Date set by the Borrower upon requesting the item. If an item arrives before the start date the Borrower will not be charged for additional days and the original period still stands. The Borrower has an option to return the borrowed item earlier than the End Date, however there will not be any refund from Rent Chic.

Extending borrow period

Borrowers can request an extension to the Borrow period by contacting Rent Chic or booking it online from 3days to 7 days. If approved, the Borrower’s payment method will be charged the extension amount.

CANCELATIONS

The Borrower is able to cancel up to 7 days before the Borrow Start Date for refund. Cancellations after the 7th day or after the item is shipped will not be refunded. Order changes or cancelations will be handled via email.

Rent Chic is able to cancel the rental order any time before without penalty and the Borrower will be refunded in full.

All purchases from SALE are non-refundable.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

All items are provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Rent Chic disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You assume full responsibility for inspecting items upon receipt.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ohio, Ohio for any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the services.

ITEMS

All items on Rent Chic’s website belong to Rent Chic and Venders. All items are cleaned or dry cleaned before they are shipped out but wear and tear with the time goes by , Borrower should be expected of a rental item. If the Borrower has questions about an item it is their responsibility to contact Rent Chic for more information.

Return Cleaning

The item should be returned unwashed to avoid accidental damages. Additional costs incurred to clean items such as deodorant, makeup, are considered minor damages and will be reported within 3 days to the Borrower.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rent Chic, its owners, employees, and agents from and against all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of your use of the rented items, any violation of this agreement, or any third-party claim related to your breach of these terms.

LATE FEES

A Borrow is deemed late at 11:59 PM 1 day after the Borrow end date. In the event of a late return, the Borrower’s payment method will be charged Late Fees for every additional day after the Borrow end date. After 7 days the item will be deemed stolen and the Borrower’s payment method will be charged the full retail value.

If the Borrower is unable to ship out or will be shipping out late they are required to notify Rent Chic immediately.

The late fees calculated as The Total Borrow Price divided by the Borrow Period and multiplied by 1.5x the days the item is late. For example, if The Total Borrow Price is $100 for The Borrow Period of 5 days, the daily rate applied to the late item is 20*1.5= $30.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rent Chic, affiliates, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or related to your use or inability to use the rented items. In no event shall Rent Chic’s total liability exceed the amount paid by the customer for the rental in question.

MANAGEMENT SERVICE

Rent Chic offers a service to manage the Borrowing process. This service includes handling communication, listing ,booking, packing, posting, cleaning, and repairing items.

MINOR DAMAGES

In the event of a minor damage, Borrowers are required to pay the repair cost of the item to compensate Rent Chic. Minor Damages include but are not limited to stains, rips, snags, missing decorative items, broken zippers, and/or other minor damages. Wear and tear due to general use of the item is not constituted as a minor damage and is to be expected. The compensation value is determined by Rent Chic and the tailoring firm and whatever resolution Rent Chic decides will be binding.

The item's base condition is reset at the start of each Borrow and is based on the time stamped photos taken before ship out. Wear and tear occurs overtime, whereas minor damage will be noticeable when compared to the item’s base condition. Minor Damages include but are not limited to rips, snags, missing decorative items, broken zippers, and/or other minor damages. If the item has arrived with major damage, the borrower must notify Rent Chic and send the item back within 12 hours of receipt for consideration for a full refund.

MAJOR DAMAGES & LOSSES

Burn,lost, deodorant stain, makeup, paint ,unremovable stains, wine, grape, tomato, stains, permanent marker, rips, missing slip layer ,missing bag strip ,and deformities, animal wastes stains and damaging.

The Borrower is responsible for covering 90% of the retail price of the garment for the inconvenience that this has caused, effectively buying out the garment .

If the item was with Rent Chic, Rent Chic will pay and ship it to the Borrower within 3 days. The compensation value is ultimately determined by the Rent Chic team and whatever resolution Rent Chic decides will be binding.

NOTIFICATIONS

You will be notified via SMS through the phone number or email provided at checkout for all order updates including order tracking information.

PAYMENT

When a Borrower orders a product you authorize Rentier’s processing partner to save your payment information and charge your payment method for your Borrow. In addition to your Borrow, you authorize Rent Chic to charge your saved payment method up to an amount to 90% of the entire original retail value of the product as set in the “retail value” on the website. Provided we only charge your payment method when you have not upheld your commitment to us as set forth in the agreement below. In the event an invoice is issued for payment for any reason then payment shall be due within seven (7) days of the date of the invoice.

PRICING

The “Total Borrow Price” for the products includes the item price (dependent on duration), and a chosen rate for shipping.

RETURNS

Rent Chic will send prepaid label with the item in the package.Please keep it well .If Borrowers lost the return label ,the shipping back cost will be on Borrower .Rent Chic will not reimburse for costs associated with shipping such as mailing materials, if any.so Borrower may hold the arrived shipping material.

The Borrower must ship out via The USPS or UPS, FedEx office and document the drop off with a time stamped tracking receipt. Packages lost without a documented tracking receipt will be deemed not returned, this includes, but is not limited to, packages shipped via UPS, USPS, FedEx drop box, or mailrooms. A not returned item will be charged up to the 100% retail value of the item. Additional costs incurred by Rentier due to failure to ship from a USPS office will be charged to the Borrower’s payment method, this includes but is not limited to the creation of expedited shipping labels or refunding back to back bookings.

Rent Chic ‘s items are all authentic ,each item will have Rent Chic unique barcode label.We only accept item with Rent Chic barcode label. If we found out the item had no barcode attached,That means the item is not belongs to Rent Chic and Venders. Rent Chic would charge missing item 100% of Retail price .Wrong item will be discard.

SHIPPING

For tight timing Order created at night and early morning ,will ship out same day,afternoon order will be ship out next business day.Rent Chic will ship out via USPS or another expedited carrier. Orders will be shipped few days prior to the rental date via shipping service. The Borrower will have access to the tracking via email. High value Item will be send with Signature comfirm. If the order arrives late without prior consent from the borrower, borrower is entitled to a full refund given that the item is shipped back within 12 hours of timestamped receipt.

Inability to adhere to this will result in cancellation of the refund and late return fees if returned later than the Borrow end date.

SELECTING DATES

Borrowers are recommended to set the start date four or five days before the day they need the item as Rentier cannot guarantee arrival by a certain date or time.Rent Chic currently only using shipping option to Borrowers ,and we will ship out ASAP,But if you need it urgent,the high rate next day shipping cost will be Borrowers option.

SIZE & FIT

Rent Chic does not offer refund for size and fit problem. For information on size and fit Borrowers can reference the item description, photos, or photos found on the brand’s website. To ask the Rent Chic a specific question on sizing, Borrowers can reach out via email support@rechic.us By requesting to Borrow an item, the Borrower understands they will not be refunded for size and fit concerns.
